Google wants to give the best service to its users.

If you’re constantly updating your website with news, products,  services and more, Google will see this and will reward you for it.

If you have not updated your site for months, and if you have not made arrangements with any other websites to link back to you during those months, you will start to drop in Google’s rankings.

Don’t be alarmed, though.  You do not need to be adding pages and pages of content everyday.  Just a few lines of information once a week, on average, will keep Google very happy.

Google assumes that we added fresh, new content, when in fact, all we did was to add links to other websites.
